From Naples to Your Neighborhood
'BalancedInsightlab originated from a single dream: to introduce authentic Neapolitan pizza to London. The Hayes family inaugurated our pizza place in 1985, a quaint, family-governed business with recipes passed down for generations.
Charlotte Hayes, our founder, mastered her pizza craft during her journeys across Italy, especially studying with renowned pizzaiolos in Naples, the home of pizza. After coming back to the UK, her mission was to replicate the enchantment of true Italian pizza, staying true to original methods and using only premium ingredients.
Our modest beginning with a 12-seat pizzeria has now transformed into a treasured neighborhood venue, and although we’ve grown, our promise to excellence and genuineness remains unchanged. We persist in our use of classical wood-fired ovens, preparing our dough from scratch daily, and selecting the best ingredients available.
Currently, 'BalancedInsightlab' is still in the care of the Hayes family, with the second generation now at the helm and guiding our dedicated team. Despite adopting contemporary innovations, the core of our establishment continues: crafting mouthwatering, authentic pizza that unites our community.
